Litigation Attorney - Insurance and liability defense

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution or trial.
• Prepare and argue motions and appear for court conferences.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Perform legal research and write memoranda or briefs.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients in municipal and school district defense matters.

We are currently seeking a Litigation Attorney with good experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Insurance defense
• Premises liability
• Motor Vehicle Liability
• Labor law
• Personal injury
• Civil litigation
• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Admitted to practice law in New York State.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Trial experience is a plus.
