Responsibilities include maintenance activities for continuous operation of multiple facilities and all equipment contained within these facilities.

• Help to maintain a clean and friendly environment for all members, guests and employees in both Gold’s Gym Dutchess County locations.
• Perform repair and scheduled preventative maintenance on all cardiovascular and strength equipment, per their schedules as well as any immediate repair needed.
• Perform general repair and maintenance duties in regard to carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and HV/AC systems. Assist employees in any of the above areas (considering magnitude of the job) under the direction of the Club Manager.
• Turn in a complete notification of all work finished daily.
• Check electrical systems such as sauna units, televisions, music system, lighting and A/C units and make repairs if necessary.
• Check and make repairs on general plumbing systems, fixtures, toilets, and sinks.
• Painting and finishing of furniture and structure as needed.
• Performs preventative maintenance on plumbing and electrical systems.

This experienced individual must possess a demonstrated ability to do basic carpentry and mechanical repair skills, good interpersonal qualities and communication skills. Must also be able to understand equipment operation.
