Join Nuvance Health as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our float team in Rhinebeck, NY. This part‑time role offers a competitive hourly salary of $25.70–$47.72, plus a $4.00 per hour floating differential and a $4,000 sign‑on bonus prorated for part‑time.

Work 24 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour shifts (8:00 am–5:00 pm). Covered areas include Poughkeepsie, Highland, Hyde Park, Rhinebeck, Kingston, Woodstock, and Modena.

• Prepare materials, supplies, and equipment, and assist physicians or physician assistants in patient exams.
• Obtain patient histories and basic medical data such as vital signs, temperature, height and weight, vision, and chief complaint.
• Provide direct patient care including ear irrigation, vaccinations, medications, wound care, and suture removal.
• Collect, prepare, and analyze patient specimens as directed.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care, prescribed medications, test preparation, and symptom monitoring.
• Follow up with patients by telephone to confirm test results or document physician instructions.
• Perform organizational responsibilities to support the practice’s mission through continuous quality improvement.
• Complete all meaningful use requirements.
• Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to the position.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure.
• Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
• Computer skills and data entry proficiency.
• Competence in obtaining accurate patient vitals.
• Experience with vaccine administration and medication preparation.

• Minimum one year of LPN experience.
• Proficiency in multiple languages.
• Phlebotomy certification.
• EKG experience.

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.

• Manual:
  Requires some manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity.
