Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN with NY licensure and at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience for a level 2 trauma teaching hospital.

• Active NY RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab procedure experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Cath Lab experience with admissions, recovery, and discharge preferred
• Cath and EP pre/post experience preferred
• Ability to take call preferred
• Two professional references from a manager or above required, reflecting standard or above-average performance within the past year

• Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within a 349-bed acute care teaching hospital, level 2 trauma center
• Participates in Cath Lab procedures including admissions, recovery, and discharge
• Assists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including complex PCI
• Duties include IV therapy, medication administration, triage, wound care, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, cardiac monitoring, and restraints
• Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• On-call availability preferred
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Provides direct patient care throughout the full Cath Lab procedure cycle, from admission through recovery and discharge
• Works as part of a cardiac catheterization team supporting both diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• Candidates with prior employment at Northwell or Nuvance Health locations are subject to an eligibility review process before assignment
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
