Experience:
Minimum 3 years preferred License: NYS RN License
Certifications:
ACLS, BLS Must-Have:
- Experience supporting critical care service lines.
- Ability to float within the critical care service line.
- Proficiency with ventilators, endotracheal tubes, and tracheostomy.
- Experience managing immediate post-surgical patients, trauma, neurosurgery, and neuro intervention cases.
- Competence in post-cardiac cath care, DKA management, and cardiac drips.
- Skills in sedation titration and handling arterial lines.
- Knowledge of Swan Ganz catheter and transvenous pacing wire management.
- Familiarity with post-structural heart patients and telemetry.
- Strong critical thinking and time management abilities.
Description:
Experienced RN needed to support the critical care service line. The role involves floating within the critical care service line, including Medical Stepdown, Surgical Stepdown, and Cardiothoracic Stepdown. Candidates must be prepared to work with various critical care equipment and procedures. The position also requires effective communication and collaboration within the healthcare team. Strong critical thinking and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
