Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Electrician to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and fixtures
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure systems operate efficiently and safely
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Install wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, panels, and other electrical components
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC)
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members

• Valid New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience preferred (commercial)
• Must have own basic tools
• Knowledge of NEC and local codes
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and safely
