Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Plumbers for projects located in or around Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $28-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Install waste, water, drain, and gas piping systems for new construction projects
- Perform residential plumbing rough-ins for kitchens, bathrooms, and other plumbing systems
- Run and install plumbing lines according to code and project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing layouts
- Diagnosing and repairing plumbing system issues as needed
- Work with PVC, CPVC, and copper piping
- Perform soldering and brazing as required
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Previous new construction plumbing experience required
- Experience with residential rough-ins for kitchens and bathrooms
- Underground plumbing experience is a plus
- Proficiency with PVC, CPVC, and copper piping systems
- Ability to braze and solder
- Ability to read blueprints and follow plumbing codes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must have basic plumbing tools and reliable transportation
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
