Position: (USA) Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee

This role offers a base pay range $31.00/hr – $36.00/hr.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop teams by teaching training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way service model and managing customer service initiatives.
  • Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and recognizing performance.
  • Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments by maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans, and measuring progress.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics by implementing action plans and supporting the Open Door Policy.
  • Build high‑performing teams, embrace differences, and create a workplace of belonging, trust, and continuous learning.
  • Serve customers and members by putting the customer first, delivering results, and making decisions based on data insights.
Qualifications
  • 2 years’ of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
  • Credit background check and firearms‑specific training for firearms or ammunition positions.
  • Associate training and assessments as required for all job‑required training.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, certification in People and Business Leadership, and 5+ direct reports experience for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
