Impact Teacher - P.E Midland Elementary School

The Poway Unified School District is looking to fill an open Impact Teacher - P.E. position at Midland Elementary School. The Impact Teacher typically works 12-16 hours per week pending site needs and funding. Impact Teachers are defined as hourly compensated teachers employed to address students' academic needs through supplemental instruction, formative assessment, progressive monitoring in collaboration with the teacher of record.

A valid California Teaching Credential:
Single Subject - Physical Education or Multiple Subject

• Applicants must have an English Language Learners (CLAD credential) in order to be considered for the position.
• Copy of valid California Teaching Credential (Multiple Subject or Single Subject).
• Copy of CBEST or equivalent.
• Copy of Transcripts (Official transcripts are required upon hiring).
• Current resume.
• Three (3) letters of reference, signed/dated within the past 12 months. Applicants are encouraged to include at least one (1) letter of reference from a supervising or site administrator.

Applicants who have never held a full-time position, are encouraged to have a letter of reference from a site administrator where they completed their student teaching.

• Copy of TB Clearance.
