• Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $/yr

The Sales Engineer is responsible for generating quotes and proposals for work that meets AM&T’s core competencies. This position acts as the main point of contact between AM&T and its customers. Additionally, this position will interact with all departments to assure jobs are quoted accurately and to provide recurring feedback to management and customers as necessary.

• Evaluate incoming requests for proposals / quotes and review all associated technical information and drawings.
• Receive and process incoming purchase orders, create appropriate documents, and transfer information to operations.
• Maintain excellent relationships with current customers, seeking to deepen and strengthen those relationships.
• Serve as the point of contact with customers, requesting clarifying information, suggesting alternative materials and methods, and updating progress.
• Take meetings with customers and give facility tours as needed; communicate AM&T’s capabilities and sell the value-added AM&T provides to its customers.
• Prepare and present recurring status meetings to customers as required.
• Prepare and update sales forecasts and assist with quarterly budget updates.
• Strive to achieve goals and KPIs as defined by the General Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

• BS in Engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Proficiency with Solid Works.
• Proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
