Blue Marble Communications (a T2S Solutions company) is currently seeking to hire a Quality Engineer specializing in high-reliability systems to join our team in Poway, CA. This role will be responsible for product compliance with internal and customer requirements spanning concept to completion. In addition, the QE will develop, coordinate, improve, evaluate, and maintain the quality assurance program.

• Schematic design and analysis of digital circuits based on advanced Xilinx FPGA and SoC devices, including power management, memory interfaces (DDR4, NOR, NAND), and embedded serial interfaces (CAN, RS-422, SPI)
• Circuit analyses such as worst-case, failure modes and effects, reliability, power dissipation and thermal management
• Layout design and analysis, including power and signal integrity simulation
• Electrical design test and verification, including test procedure generation, test execution, data analysis, and presentation
• Provide engineering support to production, including failure analysis during environmental or flight acceptance testing

• BS or MS degree and 3-5+ years of relevant experience required
• Prior quality assurance experience and familiarity with industry standards (e.g. J-STD-001, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, ISO
  9001, AS9100) is required
• Proficiency in Altium and Spice simulation tools
• Strong understanding of high-speed signal integrity and power integrity design methodology
• Proficiency with standard electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and electronic loads
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
• Excellent expository writing and oral presentation skills
• Aptitude and eagerness to learn, speak up when problems arise, and ability to follow process
• Self-starter with great time management skills and very strong attention to detail
• Must be a US Person (This position has export control and security-related requirements that mandate attention to the citizenship status of any potential candidate and necessitates that the individual either be a United States Citizen, Permanent Resident of the United States, or lawfully admitted into the United States as a refugee or granted asylum by the United States Government.)

Compensation: 80-115k DOE
