Pediatric Nurse Practitioner​/Physician Assistant - Part-time

Valle Verde Pediatrics, in partnership with Pediatrics Associates, provides exceptional medical care for children in Poway, CA. We offer comprehensive, quality-focused services from newborns to college students. Our team of highly qualified, Board-Certified Pediatricians and experienced Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants deliver superior care with compassion. We believe in establishing a provider-parent partnership to ensure the best care for your child.

Responsibilities:

• Outpatient Pediatrics - 2 days per week with parent call
• EMR: EPIC
• Must have experience in pediatrics

Qualifications:

Education:

• Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
• Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006 must be board certified.
• Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB

Licensure/Certification:

• Current, unrestricted license in the state of California
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Experience:

2+ years of experience working as a general pediatrics provider is required.
