Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store.

Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
• Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for choosing to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by leadership to help achieve goals aligned with business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by leadership across all areas.
• Learn how operational procedures, such as setting up and organizing merchandise, managing stock levels, and maintaining sales floor areas, affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services, and area-specific offerings to solve issues for guests and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner; comply with safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (pick and pack orders or deliver pickup orders) while maintaining compliance with laws related to adult beverages where applicable.
• All other duties based on business needs.
