Reporting to the Operations Manager/Transportation Manager, the Driver I drives, loads, and unloads Class C (bobtail) vehicles during the course of O&I moves and related services. Lifts, carries and/or pushes furniture, equipment, and cartons on wheels or in hand to and from trucks, offices and warehouses as requested by the customer. Responsible to load and unload trucks from loading dock, using ramps or lift-gates.
May assist in setting & offsetting goods on equipment. Responsible to produce a quality move for the customer. Assists the move process by communicating with supervisors, end users/customer and other crew members.
This position is also responsible for reporting and escalating any related issues about the job to the Lead Foreman, Supervisor or Project Manager. Typically obtains daily site work role assignments from the Lead Foreman, Driver Foreman, Supervisor, Project Manager or Account Manager, however, has a dotted line to the Dispatcher, Operations Supervisor and directly reports to the Operations Manager/Transportation Manager.
In addition, this position will use extreme care not to damage goods or facilities during the move, while adhering to all company processes and procedures.

COMPETENCIES- ORGANIZATION SKILLS - Organization skills, attention to details, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read and interpret documents written in English such as procedures, manuals, work orders, inventories, work instructions, and timesheets. Must be able to efficiently communicate with customers and coworkers.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to formulate in square feet. Ability to read and correctly interpret the legend on installation drawings and read both standard and metric tape measures.
