Production Supervisor is responsible for directing the efforts of the warehouse operations staff. This leadership opportunity includes coordinating all work to minimize downtime, reviewing daily personnel needs, and recommending overtime or reductions as necessary. The Production Supervisor will oversee shipments to ensure high quality product and on-time delivery. In addition, the Supervisor will work closely with other Supervisors, Inside Sales, and Production Planning to determine machine scheduling based on customer delivery dates, material availability, processing requirements, and distribution methods.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or commensurate experience
- 5+ years in a heavy industrial setting in a supervisory role; steel service center experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to lead and mentor others
- Experience with CNC fabrication, welding, and cutting
- High energy and drive with excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
- Strong administrative support and computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems)
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the company
Bachelors or better in Management or a related field.
