JOB DESCRIPTION
Assumption Catholic School is located in Powell River, BC.
Assumption School is seeking a teacher (0.6 FTE) for the school year for a maternity leave position.
QUALIFICATIONS- have a current pastoral reference that they are active in a Catholic parish
- have a certificate of qualification issued by the BC Ministry of Education
- are committed to excellence in Catholic education
- have experience differentiating instruction and working with students with a variety needs
- demonstrate a positive and caring approach to students
- show exceptional communication skills
- demonstrate excellent teamwork abilities
- demonstrate a willingness to provide extra-curricular opportunities for students
