Position: Advanced Clinician for Concurrent Disorders
Shape the future of mental health care as a Concurrent Disorder Clinician with Vancouver Coastal Health, located in Powell River, BC. Your expertise in therapeutic methods will help clients navigate complex challenges.

The Adult Mental Health team needs a clinician skilled in assessing substance misuse alongside mental health disorders. This role involves independent service delivery, group therapy, and engagement in program development and quality improvement initiatives. Work within a collaborative team that emphasizes education and integrated health approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical assessments for dual diagnosis clients

• Deliver individual and group therapy interventions

• Collaborate on case conferencing and program development

• Provide educational workshops for clients and families

• Engage in interdisciplinary team evaluations and initiatives

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in a Behavioral Health related field

• Three years’ experience in concurrent disorders

• Valid BC Driver’s License required

• Advanced knowledge of DSM V and psychopharmacology

• Proven ability to establish therapeutic relationships
