Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiography and other ultrasound examinations

• Conduct venipuncture when directed by medical professionals

• Participate in approved research projects and committees

Requirements:

• Graduate of Diagnostic Cardiac and General Sonography program

• Certified with Sonography Canada or ARDMS

• Completion of IV Therapy training if required

• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and safe work procedures

• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff
