Sonographer - Cardiac and General Procedures

Work with Vancouver Coastal Health as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, specializing in cardiac and general ultrasound procedures in Powell River, BC. Contribute to patient care through expert sonographic techniques.

This position requires a graduate in Diagnostic Sonography, certified by Sonography Canada or ARDMS. You will be tasked with conducting various ultrasound examinations and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction while operating diagnostic imaging equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive ultrasound examinations for diagnostics

• Prepare patients while maintaining a safe care environment

Requirements:

• Certification in Diagnostic Cardiac and General Sonography

• Completion of IV Therapy training when necessary

• Understanding of aseptic techniques in medical procedures
