Home Health Occupational Therapist Position

Vancouver Coastal Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist for the Home Health team in Powell River, BC. Deliver compassionate care and support clients in their own homes.

As an Occupational Therapist with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will play a crucial role in providing community-based therapy services. You’ll work closely with clients and their families to develop, implement, and adjust care plans tailored to unique needs. This position emphasizes interprofessional collaboration and evidence-informed practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client needs and goals in partnership with families

• Implement and evaluate personalized therapy plans

• Coordinate care with healthcare professionals and resources

• Facilitate transitions through community services

• Advise based on current evidence and best practices

Requirements:

• Registered as an Occupational Therapist with CHCPBC

• Experience in Home Health clinical settings

• Valid BC Driver’s License for required travel

• Understanding of community support services

• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
