City of Powell River is seeking a Civic Properties Janitor to join their dedicated team. Responsible for routine janitorial tasks, you will assist in building upkeep while reporting any hazards to maintain functional public spaces. Your work will play a key role in supporting the community’s vibrant life and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain assigned city facilities daily

• Assist in basic building upkeep and monitoring conditions

• Report hazards and maintenance issues to the supervisor

• Follow safety protocols using cleaning tools and products

• Uphold high standards of cleanliness for public areas

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum one-year janitorial experience

• Valid B.C. Class 5 Driver's License

• RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance necessary

• W.H.M.I.S. and Building Service Worker 1 Certificates needed
