Position: Licensed Practical Nurse Opportunity
Become a Licensed Practical Nurse with Vancouver Coastal Health's Withdrawal Management team in Powell River, BC. Focus on comprehensive care for clients dealing with mental health and substance use issues.

In this role, the LPN will work within a client-focused team, assessing, planning, and implementing tailored care strategies. Your ability to promote Indigenous Cultural Safety and apply harm reduction approaches will support your clients effectively. Collaborate closely with Registered Nurses to address complex health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement client care plans and evaluate outcomes

• Assist families in navigating treatment and recovery

• Maintain clinical competence in line with BCCNM standards

• Conduct risk assessments relevant to patient care

• Enhance team dynamics through effective communication

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse registration with BCCNM

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nurse program

• Education in Mental Health/Substance Use preferred

• Valid BC Driver's license; personal vehicle needed

• Experience with conflict management and behavioral techniques
