Become a key player in patient education and care as a Patient Care Coordinator/Educator with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) in Powell River, BC. Help transform nursing practices through leadership and training.
Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its Chemotherapy team at qathet General Hospital. In this role, you will oversee patient care coordination, facilitate staff training, and ensure high-quality care through collaborative practices. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating impactful educational programs for nurses and patients alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise patient care activities and nursing staff guidance
• Ensure effective patient flow across designated units
• Develop and implement educational programs based on best practices
• Assist management with staffing and administrative duties
• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient care
Requirements:
• Active RN license with BCCNM
• Three years of related nursing experience, including teaching
• Valid BC Driver’s License for local travel
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Ability to create supportive learning environments
