Tla'amin Health seeks a skilled Public Health Nurse to support health services in the community. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, a current registration with CRNBC, and two years of public health nursing experience. You will manage client relationships, assess health risks, and implement customized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct health assessments and document findings accurately
• Manage and prioritize client needs to promote effective care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in community settings
• Educate clients and families using effective teaching strategies
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold Tla'amin policies
Requirements:
• Current CRNBC registration and nursing degree
• 2 years of public health nursing experience
• Valid BC Driver's License
• Knowledge of Indigenous health challenges
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
