Position SummaryA Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor on site, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.
Essential Functions- Management:
Work effectively with store management and crew. - Supervise the store’s crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities.
- Communicate information to and from store management and crew.
- Customer Service:
Assist customers, promote CVS customer service culture, handle all customer relations issues according to company policy, and maintain customer/patient confidentiality. - Merchandise & Presentation:
Price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays and maintain weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise, and reset departments following POGs.
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
- Advanced communication and supervision skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts; overtime as needed; and respond to urgent issues when they arise.
- Experience as a retail supervisor.
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred but not required.

Pay RangeTypical Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00
This represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
