Starting hourly rate: $16.25 per hour. Pay range: $16.25 - $24.40 per hour.

ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM). Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule. You will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members through the myTime mobile scheduling app that work best with your schedule.

Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You must be actively engaged, picking up and working shifts at least every 4 weeks (minimum four hours). Flexibility may be granted in certain circumstances, but you must respond to Target's attempts to confirm your interest. Failure to respond may lead to employment termination. If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, employment will be administratively terminated.

When offered a position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. After that, you can pick up shifts via myTime.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Advocates of guest experience welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment, and store cleanliness. They are knowledgeable about in-store and digital services and solutions that drive adoption, usage, and guest loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes guest service experience.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to assist with specific needs.
• Use tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve experience.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety and best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Inform guests of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up.
• Show how to use Wallet and other features of the Target App.
• Attempt every return and follow register prompts, partnering with leaders as needed.
• Partner with leaders to de-escalate situations and recover guest experience.
• Deliver easy and accurate service to All Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area.
• Stock supplies during open hours while serving guests.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work safely at all times; follow safety policies and report hazards.
• Support Guest services such as OPU, DU Orders, DU Returns.
• Support Cash Office processes as needed.
• Perform other duties as required by business needs.

Basic Requirements

• Accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions.
• Efficiently scan, handle, and move merchandise, including frequently lifting up to 10 lb and occasionally up to 44 lb.
• Show flexibility for picking up shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Engage by picking up and working shifts; respond to Target's attempts t work at least one shift within 5 months.
• Work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other conditions for duties such as Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
• Remain mobile for entire shift.
