Members of our golf course maintenance team enjoy working in the great outdoors preparing the golf course for play every day. You will learn a variety of fun and challenging tasks throughout the season and enjoy the camaraderie and benefits of being part of our team. • Mows golf course to specification using various types of mowing equipment.
• Hand rakes sand bunkers.
• Changes cups on putting greens.
• Keeps course clean of litter and hazardous obstacles.
• May be asked to mix/apply pesticides under supervision of a licensed applicator.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment and storage facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work early hours starting at 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., seven days a week.
• Able to operate motorized equipment.
• Knowledge of golf course etiquette and regulations.
• Able to perform heavy physical work for extended periods.
• Able to handle multiple assignments successfully.
• Able to work in varied weather conditions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Courteous and helpful behavior.
• Maintain appropriate employee appearance per guidelines.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
• This position is not eligible for overtime pay.
• Subject to Drug-Free Workplace Policy, Criminal Background check, and BMV check.
