About the Role

As Registered Care Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall leadership, quality and performance of your service.

You'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact - not only on the lives of the customers receiving care, but also on the careers and development of the people you lead.

You'll create a positive, high-performing culture where your team feels valued, supported and motivated to deliver the very best care.

Alongside your people leadership responsibilities, you'll take ownership of service quality, regulatory compliance, customer experience, financial performance and growth.

This is a varied role that combines leadership, operational management, relationship building and commercial responsibility, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys having influence and making things happen.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team of care professionals.
Create a positive culture where colleagues feel supported, valued and able to progress.
Ensure customers receive safe, personalised and consistently high-quality care.
Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, quality and regulatory compliance.
Ensure the service operates in line with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Take ownership of audits, action plans and continuous improvement.
Identify areas for improvement and ensure actions are implemented effectively.
Build strong and trusted relationships with customers and their families.
Develop relationships with GPs, healthcare professionals, local authorities and other key community partners.
Build the profile and reputation of the service within the local community.
Identify opportunities to grow the customer base and develop the service.
Work collaboratively with internal teams across Operations, People, Quality, Finance and Marketing.
Monitor KPIs and use performance data to drive improvements.
Take responsibility for budgets, financial performance and operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities to improve profitability while maintaining exceptional customer outcomes.
Ensure the service is well planned, organised and appropriately resourced.
