Legal Secretary/Paralegal Hybrid, Onsite
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary/Paralegal (hybrid) to support litigation attorneys in our Kansas City office (Prairie Village, KS). The ideal candidate is energetic, detail‑oriented, able to manage busy attorneys and work independently.
Responsibilities- Prepare e‑filings for court.
- Schedule depositions involving multiple parties.
- Maintain attorneys’ calendars and open new files.
- Enter time and prepare expense reports (Chrome River).
- Perform day‑to‑day administrative tasks.
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience (product liability experience preferred).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail in writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with a Document Management System (DMS).
Compensation:
Starting at $60k, DOE.
