Pratt County is accepting applications for a Part-Time Fire & Rescue Chief.

The Chief is responsible for the planning and directing of the operations of the Fire and Rescue Department of Pratt County, to protect life and property from fire and other emergencies and to assist EMS with the rescue and entrapment of patients in the and throughout the County. This role involves developing fire prevention programs, managing departmental budgets and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The Fire Chief must have a good working relationship with the Township Chiefs throughout the County as well as the Pratt County Commissioners. The Fire Chief plays a key role in public education and community engagement regarding fire safety. Applicants must have a valid driver's license.
