Summary
Schedules appointments for patients by telephone or in person by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Adheres to Simply The Best Standards of Performance.
- Schedules appointments and enters appointment dates and times into a computerized scheduler or appointment book.
- Records when appointments have been filled or canceled.
- Pre-registered patients.
- Greets and directs patients, salespeople and visitors.
- Answers incoming calls, determines the purpose of the call and either response to the inquiry or forwards the call to appropriate personnel.
- Assists with other medical office needs, including registering patients and receiving payments for services provided.
- Seeks and assists other staff members with tasks if time allows.
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
