Job Details:

• Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week

• Monitor telemetry and provide care in Med/Surg ICU setting

• Manage patients with drips, vents, bipaps and occasionally arterial or CVP monitoring

• Maintain 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio typically

• Care for patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

• Work in 6-bed ICU unit that may hold medical overflow non-ICU patients at times

• May be required to float to different units

• Kansas nursing license or compact license required at time of submission

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

• Previous charge experience preferred

• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

• Complete approximately 1 hour of non-billable modules pre-start

• One reference required for submission

This regional medical center operates a 6-bed Med/Surg ICU that provides critical care services with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. The facility maintains a supportive environment for healthcare professionals and offers flexibility with floating assignments and local staff acceptance policies.

Adex Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
