• Perform breast ultrasound procedures.
• Assist with evaluations of equipment and procedures.
• Act as liaison for ultrasound interdepartmental procedures.
• Assume lead responsibilities as required.
• Execute daily operations and procedures in a timely, accurate manner.
• Perform exams based on anatomy and patient habitus per exam protocol.
• Demonstrate competency in performing procedures, including compliance with two patient identifiers and gel in/gel out.
• Produce high‑quality imaging and provide legible, accurate, and complete documentation to the physician.
• Maintain the integrity of a sterile field and protect patients with open/seeping skin by providing a barrier between the ultrasound probe and the exposed wound.
• Locate patient information in Empower, RCO, RADNET, and Dominator systems as needed for exam performance and dictation.

• High School Diploma or GED
• RTBS (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Breast) or RDMS  (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) and MAMMRAD:
  
  AZ (Certified Mammography Radiology Tech in AZ)
• Completion of an ARDMS or ARRT approved ultrasound training program or hospital‑based ultrasound training program
• BLS‑CPR certification

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Cerner experience
• Associate degree or BS degree
• ARDMS   - Breast Certified
• Completion of an ARDMS or ARRT approved ultrasound program
