Imaging Receptionist Scheduler

Overview

Imaging Receptionist Scheduler role at Dignity Health. Pay range: $19.01 - $24.24 /hour.

• Greets, schedules and registers patients seeking Imaging services. Ensures consistent compliance to hospital and department-specific rules and regulations relative to scheduling.
• Schedules out-patients for Imaging studies and procedures, as needed.
• Greets all patients with a friendly attitude when arriving in person or when speaking on the telephone.
• Collects complete and accurate patient demographics and guarantor information.
• Collects complete and accurate insurance information.
• Maintains an accuracy rate of no less than 90%.
• Prepares admitting packet and obtains all necessary signatures.
• Answers incoming telephone calls and takes appropriate messages.

• Minimum:
  High School Diploma/GED;
  Experience in a clerical setting.
• Preferred:
  One year of admitting or scheduling experience in a healthcare setting.
