• Ability to perform the duties of a supervisor including defining daily work for trades crew, keeping records of work performed and evaluating timecards (carpenter, locksmith, painter, technicians)
• Strong team player attitude and excellent work ethic
• Willingness to be on-call in case of emergencies
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must understand OSHA safety regulations and continually reinforce safe work practices
• Ability to lift 25 pounds continuously/daily, 50 pounds occasionally, and team lift items over 50 pounds as required
• Perform work or deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes via loading, unloading and operation of a YC vehicle
• Regular attendance is an essential job function as it demonstrates dependability towards the performance of job duties
• Assign All Work Order requests to appropriate trades District wide.
• Performing skilled carpentry work at the master craftsman level; performing skilled work at the journeyman level in at least one additional trade and providing technical guidance to All Facilities Trades personnel.
• Oversee new and in-house construction projects district wide
• Manage furniture inventory and all auction/disposal activities for outdated college property and inventory.
• Performs work with Assistant Director to oversee capital improvement projects
• Performs work with subcontractors to obtain bids and oversee onsite work.
• Responsible for coordinating overseeing and participating in activities involving construction planning, construction projects, the use of heavy equipment, excavation and the installation of new underground utilities and infrastructure, installation of floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, and new concrete/replacement projects.
• Trouble-shoots and responds to after-hour on call issues regarding, plumbing, fire alarm malfunctions, electrical outages, water leaks, etc.
• Responsible for the training and certification of all YC Facilities Employees on equipment including Forklifts, Aerial lifts, and Boom truck lifts.

• 10 years hands on experience in commercial HVAC installation and repair
• Associates degree or Technical education to include NATE Certification, and EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification
• Ability to perform the duties of a supervisor including defining daily work for crew, keeping records of work performed and evaluating timecards
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and specification manual interpretations
• Manage all aspects of the College's Energy Management System (EMS)
• Strong team player attitude and excellent work ethic
• Working knowledge of the Johnson controls web-based metasys system
• Willingness to be on-call in case of emergencies related to district-wide HVAC systems emergencies
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 100 lbs. on a repeated basis if necessary
• Must understand OSHA safety regulations and continually reinforce safe work practices within the HVAC team
• Perform work or deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes via loading, unloading and operation of a YC vehicle

• Must meet requirements for Tech III Electrician
• Working knowledge of Acuity Lighting System Working knowledge of Avigilon Door Access Controls
• Must have a working knowledge of fire alarm systems, preferably Honeywell Notifier
