* Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s College of Business, Security, and Intelligence in Prescott, AZ, is hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Cyber Intelligence and Security, starting Fall 2025. The role involves teaching and research in areas such as AI and machine learning, cyber-physical system security, database systems and cloud security. Candidates will contribute to hands-on education, mentor students, and expand research in our cyber facilities.

They are expected to develop practical, experience-based courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels as well a engage in scholarly activities and present research.

ERAU-Prescott’s CIS department is a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity, with an ABET-accredited cybersecurity program and memberships in the RSA Security Scholar Program and U.S. Cyber Command Academic Engagement Network. It offers DoD Cyber Scholarships and is the sole NSF Cyber Corps SFS institution for aviation and aerospace cybersecurity. The department started in fall 2013 and today has seven full-time faculty, over 160 students, and 250+ graduates, emphasizing hands-on education.
