C5 Youth Foundation of Southern California is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Summer Camp Counselor to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our five-year leadership development program designed for high‑potential youth from under‑resourced areas of Los Angeles. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding participants through their first‑year experience at camp, providing them with the support and opportunities necessary to foster their growth into future leaders.

• Supervise and engage with groups of teens aged 13-14 during a variety of camp activities.
• Facilitate leadership development programs and activities that align with the C5LA mission.
• Actively participate in all camp initiatives, both indoors and outdoors, to ensure a holistic experience for participants.
• Create a supportive and enjoyable environment that encourages personal growth, responsibility, and self‑confidence among campers.

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate participatory and educational activities in a dynamic camp setting.
• Enthusiasm for outdoor adventures and team collaboration.

• Experience working with youth in a leadership or mentoring role is preferred.
• A genuine commitment to the mission of C5LA and the development of young individuals.
• Previous experience in camp counseling is beneficial but not mandatory.
