Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Nursing Assistant at Dignity Health-Yavapai Regional Medical Center, you’ll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities. Responsibilities- Conduct hourly rounds on approximately 8 to 10 patients, checking vitals, maintaining whiteboard information, and assisting with care as needed.
- Collaborate with RN in implementation of plan.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living according to standards of care and hospital protocol.
- Report significant observed or reported alterations in the patient condition.
- Assist with patient admission, discharge and transfer.
- High School Diploma or GED
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate
- Documentation of successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training program
- 1 to 3 years Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting
- AZ CNA License
