We’re seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technician to be the surgeon’s indispensable partner in the OR. You will scrub in, anticipate every need, and ensure flawless execution from start to finish. • Scrub procedures, assess, plan, anticipate, administer, and evaluate the needs of each assigned procedure.
• Maintain aseptic field.
• Organize and achieve quality performance levels in new routines and procedures.
• Interact and assist other surgical services personnel in a positive professional manner.
• Takes emergency call as scheduled.
• Respond to crisis or emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.

• High School Diploma/GED.
• One-year surgical technology experience. May consider a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program with six months of clinical healthcare experience.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows.

• Cardiac Surgery Service team only: CVOR experience.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
