Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday

• Evening shift option available from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

• Call requirements include 5-10 weeknights per 6 weeks for CVOR and up to 50% call time

• Weekend call requirement: 2 weekends per 6 weeks with up to 50% call time

• Holiday requirement: 2-3 12-hour shifts per year

• Call response time of 30 minutes required

• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience required

• Must have skillset to work both OR and CVOR

• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS

• Experience with total joints, general surgery, spine, urology, and cardiovascular cases

• Work with 6 surgical suites plus hybrid room handling 20-30 cases per day

• Hospital provided scrubs

• Unit orientation of 3-5 shifts depending on case load and exposure

• May occasionally float to assist with non-procedural tasks

• Cerner EMR system

• Scrub techs available for support

• Charge nurse and specialty leads available as resources with 24/7 house supervisor coverage

The facility maintains advanced cardiovascular and general surgery capabilities, providing specialized care including total joint replacements, spine procedures, and open heart surgeries. The organization offers strong support structure with dedicated charge nurses, specialty leads, and round-the-clock supervision to ensure optimal patient care and staff support.
