Job SummaryThe CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision aerospace components according to engineering specifications and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Set up CNC machines—Lathes—by installing and adjusting fixtures, tools and work pieces.
- Load raw materials into the machine and adjust machine controls to ensure proper alignment.
- Interpret technical drawings, and blueprints to understand machining requirements.
- Input and modify CNC programs using G-code as necessary to meet design specifications.
- Operate machines to produce aerospace components with high precision.
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and our measurement tools to ensure parts meet strict tolerance.
- Complete required documentation, including quality reports and production logs.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or repair needs promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulations, including AS9100 and ISO
9000. - Work closely with engineers, quality control personnel, and other team members to resolve issues and optimize processes.
- Provide feedback on production efficiency and suggest improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of experience operating CNC machines, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
- Knowledge of precision measurement tools and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform detailed work.
This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage. Expected weekly hours: 40-50. We offer a competitive benefit package, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.

Must be willing and able to work onsite full-time in Prescott, AZ. This position is not eligible for relocation.
