Fann Contracting, Inc - Northern Arizona’s leading heavy-civil and heavy-highway contractor is searching for a Hot Mix Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team for local and statewide projects! This role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, heavy equipment experience, and knowledge of asphalt materials and mix design.

• Minimum of 3 or more years operating a hot mix plant is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.

• Experience with computerized hot plant controls & systems.
• Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work day/night shifts with overtime.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor.
• Must be safety-focused and reliable.

• Operate and monitor hot mix asphalt plant controls.
• Lead and train a crew of up to 4 employees.
• Maintain safe plant operations, perform inspections, and complete repairs.
• Operate loaders, skid steers, forklifts, cranes, and related heavy equipment.
• Manage material orders, mix designs, batching, and load‑out systems.
• Complete daily reports, logs, and production records.
• Work closely with Quality Control to meet mix specifications.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and all safety requirements.
