As our Charge Nurse at Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center, you'll oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Every interaction is an opportunity to improve your understanding of a patient's needs, the needs of your nursing team, and the needs of your unit. You'll advocate for your fellow nurses as you support them in reaching their full potential, aligning with the department's operational goals and objectives.
Responsibilities- Mentors others in areas such as competency, documentation, equipment use, plan of care, National Patient Safety Goals, and participation in in-service education.
- Coaches to improve care; provides direct patient care as appropriate to meet the needs of the patients and department.
- Prepares work schedules and assigns personnel.
- Coordinates patient flow on the unit to facilitate provision of timely and effective care.
- Demonstrates appropriate prioritization and critical thinking skills in critical situations.
- Two (2) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty and/or charge nurse experience
- AZ RN license
- AHA BLS and ACLS
- ADN or foreign equivalent.
- Skilled Working Knowledge of the EMR and hospital systems.
- CVICU experience or Critical Care Charge Nurse
- BSN
- Certification in Specialty

Pay Range: $42.85 - $63.77 /hour
