Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse in the healthcare provider setting. This role involves providing skilled patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring, primarily during day shifts. The position is designed for those capable of interpreting telemetry strips, managing cardiac patients, and working within a fast-paced acute care environment.

• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS
• Education and Experience:
  
  RN license required;
  Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar acute care setting with telemetry experience.
• Location Requirements:
  Candidate must take and pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing the contract, with specific rules regarding failing attempts and associated facilities.
• Schedule:
  
  Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities:
  Interpreting telemetry strips, managing patients with conditions such as CHF, COVID, respiratory issues, GI problems, diabetics, post-cath, and total joint replacements. RNs may be required to titrate certain drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem at a set rate.
• Additional Details:
  The unit operates with a team of nurse aides (ratio 1:10-15) and uses Cerner charting system. Orientation includes one shift on the unit, with float requirements to other units as qualified.
• Submission Requirements:
  Valid RN license, and the ability to submit licensure documentation.
