Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) RN Various Locations This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting, supporting a variety of cardiology, interventional radiology, vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology cases. The role requires circulating cases, administering medications and sedation, and monitoring patients throughout procedures to ensure optimal outcomes.

  Unit "Cath Lab, EP and IR - RN suites/labs" includes 3 rooms and a hybrid operating room. The caseload typically averages 15-20 cases daily, with variability. The RN will circulate cases, administer medications, monitor patients, and may scrub in if trained.

• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with EMR systems such as Cerner, familiarity with hemodynamic charting (Merge), and experience with specialized equipment such as Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, laser atherectomy, CSI, rotablator, angiojet, FFR, IVUS, OCT, C02 angiography.
• Additional Information:
  Procedures encompass diagnostic and interventional cardiology, vascular interventions, structural heart procedures, and electrophysiology. The schedule includes regular weekday hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call rotations including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The team may float but generally remains within the lab. Orientation includes 1 day of hospital orientation and 2 days of department-specific training. Staffing includes cath lab techs and a team-based approach to case management.
