Part‑Time Summer Camp Lifeguard

Join Penn State University as a certified lifeguard for our summer camp at Whipple Dam State Park. We need lifeguards for six Fridays:
June 19, June 26, July 3, July 17, July 24, and July 31, 2026. Prior experience lifeguarding children ages 6‑14 is preferred. Applicants must have reliable transportation to/from the location. As long as you can work at least two of these dates, you may still apply.

• Supervise and maintain the safety of campers during camp activities.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and execute life‑saving techniques.
• Ensure water‑area safety and monitor all water activities.
• Maintain accurate incident reports and adhere to camp safety protocols.

• Current lifeguard certification (CPR/AED and rescue certification required).
• Previous lifeguarding experience with children ages 6‑14 preferred.
• Reliable transportation to Whipple Dam State Park.
• Ability to work the required dates or, if unavailable, at least two of the dates.
