* The Prescott Campus Safety & Security Department is seeking dedicated and professional
** Armed Officers
** to join our team. As front-line representatives of the department, Armed Officers play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for the campus community. This position is responsible for life safety, emergency response, and the protection of university assets, facilities, and property.

* Key Responsibilities:
*** Enforce university policies and support a secure campus environment.
* Respond to service calls, including fire, medical, mental health, and critical incidents.
* Collaborate directly with students, staff, and faculty to build trust and enhance safety.
* Operate within assigned shifts with flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* Support operations in the Communications Center when required.
* Participate in campus events as part of the department’s community policing philosophy.
** Requirements:
*** Ability to obtain and maintain Arizona Department of Public Safety unarmed and armed guard cards.
* Meet departmental standards for physical fitness, firearms qualification, and defensive tactics proficiency
The hourly pay for this position is $17.50 with a $2.50 armed differential for a total hourly pay of $20.00.
