Product Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). You’ll work closely with stakeholders to build modern solutions that streamline business processes and enhance user experience across our municipal software suite and cloud platform.

• Design and develop Oracle APEX applications based on business requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL code for data access and business logic.
• Integrate APEX apps with RESTful and SOAP web services, Oracle Fusion Cloud APIs, and other enterprise systems.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, DBAs, and other developers.
• Document technical specifications, deployment guides, and user instructions.
• Stay current with APEX versions and Oracle cloud technologies, suggesting improvements and enhancements.
• Provide production support and resolve technical issues as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle APEX development (APEX 20.x and above).
• Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with APEX components such as Interactive Reports, Forms, Charts, REST Data Sources, and Dynamic Actions.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs within APEX applications.
• Understanding of Oracle database architecture and schema design.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and write efficient, maintainable code.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), especially APEX Service or Autonomous Database.
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of security best practices in APEX development.
