Position SummaryWhat you’ll do:
Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; tours stores and provides feedback; communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, and business initiatives; introduces and leads company change efforts; models exceptional customer service standards; manages and supports customer service initiatives; drives financial performance and sales; reviews and evaluates profit and loss statements;
assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; ensures effective merchandise presentation and inventory flow; develops action plans to mitigate shrink; provides supervision, training, and mentoring; promotes a belonging mindset; ensures compliance with company policies; builds high‑performing teams; communicates with impact; attracts and retains best talent; maintains integrity; serves customers and members; strikes a balance between short‑ and long‑term priorities; and strives for excellence.
In addition, you will manage community outreach programs, support company missions and values, embrace diversity, and leverage data insights to make informed decisions.

Additional compensation can include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, a regional pay zone adjustment based on location, and compensation for complex structure challenges.
- 2 years of college education; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms: successful completion of a firearms‑specific criminal background check and firearms authorized training.
- For facilities selling only ammunition with state requirements: a current state‑issued certificate of eligibility.
- Required to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, or related degree, through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
- General work experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing duties.
