Join Our Client as a Full-Time Temporary Admin Officer in Preston!
Are you organised, customer-focused, and ready to support the justice system? Our client, a reputable organisation within the HMCTS, is hiring for a dedicated Admin Officer to join their team in Preston. This is a full-time role until 31st March 2027, with a potential extension, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference.
What you'll be doing:- Handling all administrative tasks to prepare for, facilitate, and conclude hearings.
- Providing clear, supportive assistance to users and stakeholders via face‑to‑face, phone, and written communication, including those with complex needs.
- Using HMCTS service scripts and knowledge articles to guide users to relevant services and information.
- Supporting complaint procedures, assisting users through the process, and updating records as needed.
- Identifying risks related to HMCTS buildings and informing the Senior Person on Site.
- Processing work in line with standard procedures to meet performance and service standards.
- Managing case files with accurate data entry and secure information handling.
- Supporting jury service activities, including scheduling, deferrals, and expense processing.
- Assisting with listing and scheduling to optimise judicial time and respond to urgent matters.
- Providing judicial support such as diary management and administrative assistance.
- Supporting enforcement activities, including financial assessments and report generation.
- Contributing to health and safety operations, including safety checks and issue logging.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills across multiple contact methods.
- Ability to follow procedures accurately and handle sensitive information securely.
- Customer service experience, especially in complex or high‑pressure environments.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Pay rate: £12.86 per hour, increasing to £13.25 after 12 weeks
